hello!finally ended a crazy week!there was so much I had to do.competition on alternate days(though I didn't play) and there's F1!THE HIGHLIGHT of my week :D

so yup handball sunig(which stands for Singapore university games,if I'm not wrong).it went okay.no particular feelings or emotions attached.just hoping the team will play well and I don't need to be subbed in.heeeeee!in the end we emerged third(out of four schools) was pretty good.given that many were pretty new to the game :D in between there was so much drama involved.getting injured hurt and all.so I shall end it here.

and then during the weekend when the Singapore grand prix was here.I worked in the booth selling all the merchandises,the shirts,caps,lanyards and many different things.it was tiring.I was zombiefied after day one.but it was fun the company was good,great bosses.they were not strict on how you do things and wld really help you along,which was awesome.I know I told you all I hated retail.but this is so different.people there were like FLITHY rich,so they wld buy things with little hesitation.and my,some goods were so expensiveeeee :O wldnt mind working there again :D

heh and I just painted my nails.mad love.such an improntu one!shld do nail arts more.now that I have my dotting tool as well :D

hello(: I'm back.I know the blog is greatly neglected.but I found a new app.hopefully it's gna be so much easier to blog!

let's start with school
1.lessons!
well it's okay.three hours of lecture per module or half module can be entertaining or draining of energy depending on the topic that i am doing.well but I can say what I'm learning is not easy.and I'm struggling like mad with the mods I'm taking.so far I have been attending principles of banking and finance(which I like in general,but some financial terms are hard to grasp),econs(understanding the methods and all but how to ans qns?!?),math(something I have learnt before except the link to econs)
another thing I hate is having to eat at crazy timings.like 10plus for brunch.ohgawd,I can't even have the appetite to eat and then I get hungry after like three hours :(( perhaps this weird timings are causing my gastric to come back. 
2.CCA
though it's not a must.I thought like perhaps I want to learn a new skill for once.so I decided to take part in handball.and tadah,I got tangled into the whole competition training thing.and I'm struggling everytime I go for training.its a game out of my comfort zone,well everything netball isn't I guess.but I'm not used to the game.to go for cca over spending time with my friends,I'm kinda upset.like I have to go for all the trainings I don't even have time to relax.the people are awesome,don't get me wrong.but maybe I'm not so into commitment?oh wells.counting the days to the end of the competition.ending this Friday.secretly can't wait 

next is all the crazy number of outings.my OG group from orientation day is quite close.and many outings were held.to marina barrage,teoheng,birthday celeb,timbre!

been procrastinating wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long,so i decided that i shld finally place myself infront of the computer to do some update.

uni is going to start in less than a month's time.and all the orientation stuff is giving me loads of jitters.i guess its cos im going to embark a totally new lifestyle,new education system.its a huge jump from what i have went through my whole life, really spoon-fed.where you are told what to do, how to go about things, what is compulsory and what is not.i missed so many deadlines just before starting the school, the registration of the orientation talk, the administration briefing and worse still, the module selection.i guess its cos im not an extremely detailed person, i dont really read the itty gritty details until the deadline is up -.-

and so, tmr i am supposed to be having an orientation talk which is compulsory,but i have to sign up for.i find a little irony in this sort of things,when its compulsory i suppose my name to be auto registered alr.but i guess its for you to acknowledge that such an event is going on.heh and so i hope i can get in :/ else my leave would be wasted :(

i guess as a slight introvert it gets me some time to warm up to the things, and i can say im glad to have found friends everywhere i went to.it could take a while but i know that im greatly loved by the few friends i have.so same wish all over again, i hope to find friends, friends that arent superficial but people who i can count on.i forsee my course to be hard(looked at the syllabus,almost died) but i will perservere, since i chose this over going into a local uni and taking something like engineering,i must do well(:

aye, theres so many things to update abt!i have been out and abt, shopping, eating, catching up, celebrating birthdays(including mine-yes im a year older once again), watching the live game of world netball championships 2011 between the aussies and kiwis (which was really really REALLY awesome and i would die to relive that experience all over again :') ) yes running all around lately, money going low. venturing into online shopping, bought tons of opi and china glaze.yes i need major rehab. getting more body conscious, i guess with age you cant simply eat anything and remain the same weight or the same body size. to many, im skinny, but i know i havent hit my ideal body shape, im infact very bottom heavy and even cellulite appearing.im struggling along with many other girls with this and i have a sweet tooth, a major weakness for sweet things which is no good.im not promoting anything, but i chanced upon these girls.and followed their workouts (almost religiously) i hope that they transform your lives, im slowly feeling results but i havent given up upon my food :((

hello everyone, i'm doing an update on my computer.means, its supposed to be a livelier post,but more spelling errors. yes, im heavily reliant on autocorrect and my darling iphone. technology has indeed crippled me, well its really bad!!that reliance MUST stop, but no, im not allowing it to(:

lets see, the other day i received an email regarding the insurance of my school fees for sim.
the other day, thurs (to be exact) i received the acceptance letter. it came earlier than i expected :D (okay i wanted to upload the pic but it wouldnt upload)
as i tweeted, " i should say im accepted into uol(university of london) instead of sim, sounds more prestigious that way(: " yup, but its not that i bother, im happy, i guess mainstream education may not always the right choice.cos i think that ultimately, if you want to get to your desired location, how long you take, what route you take, it doesnt matter. JUST DONT GIVE UP. you may struggle, you may fall, you may lose hope, but i believe it makes you a better person.
seriously, after my results were out, i was really unhappy and i couldnt face the world cos i felt really ashamed. its like people around me, they seem so smart, people make it into local universities and all but i, cant even scrap a good result to enter uni.
well, if you ask, will i regret, yes i would. cos different paths bring different experiences, maybe i wouldnt make really close friends,maybe i was MADE to go this path cos theres a plan for me. yes, it may sound really religious but im not a strong believer, i dont like going to church (perhaps cos im not close to the people in church) but i do believe that the LORD exists, i cant have solid arguments to your prejudice against christainity but everytime i listen to the word being preached, christain songs being sang, it just gives me peace. heheh, enough of this talk(: i shall post a video, love this song and the lyrics, you can play it to listen(:

yup, this is my second cousin getting married.my cousins arent that old i guess and im not extremely close with them, perhaps cos i dont spend so much time with them.
but we were at the M hotel.
the food was pretty good, ambience was pretty good, service was average, and i drank wine and tried champagne(:

17052011 vesak day outing
meet the class!attendance was pretty awesome(:
well, it started with me wanting to organise a meetup(as mentioned in my previous post), so i decided to fb message the girls.
well, it dawned that tues was a public holiday(vesak day- which i dont know who exactly celebrates it) and so a fb event was created, inviting everyone that belongs to 09s29. heh, the discussion on where to go and all aggitated me a little but everything went well, catchups were done and photos were taken with my sexy dslr(if it wasnt so heavy, i would bring it along EVERYWHERE) but i forgot to charge the battery, i know, so clever of me. but hey, we managed to take some decent pics.
That day, we ate astons(so yummy and good) at je coffeshop, weird people were there.
went to science centre to enjoy the aircon. and the newly built clementi mall, for paper market(shops there looks promising, releasing inner shopaholic) and tried ok tea cos koi had long queue.but im not a fan of koi. STAUNCH SUPPORTER OF GONGCHA

and so my last update was about politics.
yeah,big yawn,so since I'm pretty free,I will do abit of update(:

work life is as usual but time sure flies,is may already.and my contract is almost over,school is going to begin soon :(
I think I would miss working.as much as people there are not my age,I think that all of them are really really nice to me.I don't mind taking up a temp role if they have one.extra MONEH!!heh(:

as for school wise,I think I'm accepted in GOBAL SIM,UOL-BACHELOR OF ACCOUNTANCY AND FINANCE.my aim is to top the cohort and get first class honours.I really must perservere.it is probably one of my last schooling time that I can prove that I'm capable of achieving good grades.I really don't want to bawl my eyes out like in o level and a level.not that I think I'm very clever,I think I pick up things pretty fast,I'm good at smoking my way through things,perhaps it may attribute to my street smartness(: heh school in august.I wish to get a part time so I can earn extra income to buy my own things(: meanwhile,I need to save and control my expenditure.so that I got enough to last me!

drivinggggg!my progress ain't great.havent started on my practical.slow right,I know.but I have completed my theory tests(: phew!it was a real struggle.cos I haven't done practical.nvm I'm halfway there.yup jiayou girl.

and so meetups.havent done many,I will plan and I will start to organize them.just thinking of good days and who to include.and where to go.I want to go to interesting food places.cheap and good food.or something out of the blue(: yeah,sometimes I think I enjoy planning things but I don't really like to follow it through.but once I set my mind to plan something,I try to do it the best I can.that's why I would rather people give me a clear indication of the meetup way beforehand,I hate it when people do not bother,or just slot me in between.yes I would sacrifice for once or twice.but do not expect me to give in all the time,its unfair for me :(

just doing some ranting though it doesn't seem coherent.not bothering to edit it.I like to say whats on my mind,perhaps it causes the straightforwardness that I portray.sometimes it's a shield for deeper thoughts.hmm,deep? :D

for the past few weeks,many events happened.and just yesterday,I witnessed one of the greatest elections in the history of singapore.

yes,general election 2011.
to get it straight,I'm pro pap.but if I get to vote I would vote for the opposition.
I appreciate what pap has done for us,and they indeed is the reason for the stability and comfort that I live in now.however,many mishaps happened the last few years.I believe that through the campaigning,the government should do some soul searching upon their approachability to the masses and even the handling of funds.cost of living is indeed one of the highest concern in Singapore.but perhaps it's part and parcel of a growing economy.adding to the fact,the scarcity of land in Singapore may have caused cost of housing and even coe to rise even beyond comprehension.the sad truth is that,wages do not increase as well.and the middle class citizens find it hard to make ends meet.I think it's an issue that pap should try to counter,instead of rising the cost of gst(please don't,shopping and eating is like my greatest joy).
for both the ruling parties and oppositions,they have pros and cons.but I think that pap has the advantage due to experience and trust of the people.cos they have done great and have proved themselves.
as for oppositions,they bring about a check to the parliament and they would bring about an alternative view to the parliament.I feel that for a balanced view,there should at least be thirty percent to forty percent of opposition in the parliament.I worry for a coalition parliament but certain issues would be addressed properly only with the place of opposition.
in this election,we have lost George Yeo,an mp that is truly sincere and someone that I respect the most.perhaps,this electoral method is wrong,I feel that grc,though there is inclusion of minority groups,every member of parliament should be accessed singly(though a very tedious method),at least people who can truly represent the citizens would fight for us in the parliament.instead of riding upon a heavyweight minister.I know you guys know who.
this are my thoughts for this election.I wish the opposition would come back stronger in five years time,with a stronger manifesto and a stronger plan for Singapore.

so many things happened for the past few weeks!have been really packed and I'm rather exhausted alr.
well,work is as usual but lately,I felt that it's particularly draining.and I have started to make quite a number of mistakes lately.I'm damn scared.it's all really minor,but I think I must be more careful before even more trouble comes :/ jiayou sherilyn!!
so other than work(which means rattling on rubbish) had a few meetups the last week.almost with the same person.but had crazy bimbotic moments!hahahah

come on,who can resist free icecream?I remember I was laughed at because I took the event name literally and ask if i needed to pay for the icecream,cos the cone wld be free.but hey,I'm not the only one okay!when I mentioned this to other people,they ask so how much do we need to pay for the icecream.looks like there are many people who doesn't believe in free food!hahah I had two scoops of icecream-phish food and clusterfluff!chionged down after work to meet hyeon in united square cos nobody willing to go with me in my office D: but the icecreams were awesome to satisfy my darling sweet tooth!

SHOPPING WITH A MISSION
hahah we had to get something,so we met up at city hall.near my workplace this time.
along citylink mall,there's this hersey's shop and the Hersey mascot was out,and free kisses(Hersey) were given out.so,being typical Singaporeans,we took free kisses.and we requested for a photo with the mascot!I almost skipped over.don't know,just feel damn happy looking at a GIANT CHOC BAR(walking choc bar ain't that cool)

people were staring at us.HAHAHAH and I bet the person in the mascot was feeling pretty awkward!hahah

SENTOSA WITH S29 <3
my initial date wasn't free for the whole entire day so I cld go to sentosa.but I was abit lazy and tired to wake up early.and my partner in crime decided to meet later to do some shopping before we go to meet the class.but,we got carried away..
SHOPPING AT F21 and COTTON ON.didn't get many good deals.but was nice,I went to buy this nail polish from cotton on to try.cos the colour is so irresistible!
pretty right,but the smell was horrid,almost died while painting my nails :/

okay I think right now people from s29 wld be cursing us cos we arrived so late! :x

anw,we had lunch at marche,
was nice but not satisfying enough.

so we bought gongcha before heading to sentosa!~~sorry I have an obsession with gongcha~~

so on the way to the beach,we passed the station of resorts world sentosa so we decided to drop by and camwhore.

i dont know how many people actually do check out this blog,its semi dying anyway.
another few weeks passed again,i survived another few weeks(: hahah currently on a huge budget cos i have been spending too much lately,be it on daily indulgence like my bubble tea and sweet tooth satisfactions D: nvm, i ren another two weekssssssssssssss!!it would be on a five bucks per meal diet,surviving!

last week has been good and its gna get busy again because of the handling of the 'month-end statements'(that the bank hands out,it is prepared manually,does this shock people?)and so,i probably have to do OT on the first few days of the month :/ but i get paid,thats good la, and extra pay somemore.yayee for moneyyyyy(: sheesh im so money faced $.$

basic theory has finally came and its finally over :DDD i passed well i dare to say with alot of spamming of the practice questions!

met up with the s29 girls on the 29th(: had a steamboat buffet.ate soooooooooooooooooooo much that i was full till the very next day,the food finally digested after more than 12 hours.good job, my dear body!!

food glorious food!!ally and i was spamming the tom yum, the chicken soup was good too(: and i spammed a whole load of meat like beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeef <3 the place was so warm that i was sweating buckets!unglam maximus!

and back to the topic on cheap thrills,on april fool's day, the manhattan fish market had this offer, $3.99++ fish and chips,amounted to $4 plus but worth it la(: i was pleasantly surprised at the portion for the offer,it was good too(: but i think for the original price,if the same protion was served, not as worth it.

not an april fool's joke!i paid less than 5 bucks for this.went with some colleagues for this, abit awkward,nothing much to say, so i just immersed myself in my trusty iphone and the food!hahaha

anws,im thinking of gaining back some weight :/ not that i intentionally lost all these waight,i dont know what happened to my body.but honestly im the most satisfied with my lower half of body now,not so for the top half :( dilemma of a girl :/

I'm the kinda girl who..

1.loves surprises
yes,I love surprises.or rather pleasant surprises.I don't know,it just feels nice.that people are actually putting in effort for you,makes you feel insanely loved!hahah

2.loves planning surprises and events
well,to a certain extent.I enjoy planning,I can get mad excited.especially for people close to you.it's not for karma sake,but perhaps I like making gifts,doing cards,shopping for presents.I love craft,to a certain extent.but I'm not crazily good with them.

3. dislikes soft toys and large bouquets of flowers
yeah,I like gifts but I do not have a soft spot for a large soft toy nor do I fancy bringing arnd a large bouquet of flowers.lets face it,flowers die.they are awesome to look at but in it's 'dying' days,they aren't really lovely.maybe I'm secretly not a girl!hahah

4. doesn't fancy animals
I don't go gaga over little dogs,bunnies or cats.people who know me understand that I don't like cats and are rather scared of them.(don't ask me why,I don't know either) and to add to this misery,there is a whole pack(whats the collective noun) of cats outside the compound of my house.and it's less than pleasant.people are feeding them,and THEY ARE BREEDING!bring them home please or let them die.don't bring them to this world to affect my life.thankyouverymuch.

5. I do not fancy brands
yeah,certain branded goods are supposedly of better quality.but for me,wearing clothes or shoes or bags of a certain brand does not boost my confidence greatly.I look for comfort and fit and look.definitely a plus if it's cheap!there's always this sense of satisfaction whenever you get real good deals,dont ya agree? :D

6. I'm a fanatic over mani&pedi
I love doing my nails and painting them.ever since school stopped,I have been painting my nails almost every week.it's kinda therapeutic(: but it gets annoying when the nail colour doesn't last.currently hunting for a cheaper alternative that last.currently my nails are yellowish D: hopes it heals man :/

7. can be a crazy active girl
been doing netball my whole life!love the game,competitively.but there has been a love-hate relationship with the game,but at the end of the day,I wish that I accomplished more in my netball career.now I'm picking up swimming!missing playing sports,miss jumping and running and catching the ball.hahah nostalgia huh.yeah,I'm active but lazy,I won't go an extra mile to improve on my skills.only what I think is required.tsk me(I don't even think I make sense now :/)

8.my straightforward-ness may sometimes be a front
whenever I do not wish to share certain things on a personal level,I kinda get shoot a straightforward comment.it may come across blunt sometimes I think.okay,I dont know how to explain it but yeah..

9. I'm a quiet person
it's trueeeeeee.when I'm alone,I tend to be the person listening,I'm better at writing my thoughts down than to expressing them upfront face to face with people.it takes time and effort for me to open up to others.when I do,I may not be the most talkative person.but maybe if I'm comfortable enough with you,I wld talk more to you.

10. i love taking long lift 'rides' alone
not all,but I love my home's lift and the current office lift.it has mirrors on three wall panels(except the door).something about it is just so therapeutic(: hahah I like being alone sometimes,given time to just stone out and being away from the hustle and bustle.just like how I hate crowded areas.I hate squeezing with people,I need personal space,I love the corner seats.

let's see.the last week has been fine.kept myself semi busy with work and meetups to sorta run away from thinking abt uni options and all.like when placed in complicated situations I tend to avoid them :/ thats bad huh!hahah yup but I finally went to apply for sim.the whole process isnt done yet.but hey,I started!I hope the Lord will guide me through,I haven't been a very good Christian all my life.was reminded that I shld look up not look ahead,maybe the plans that are in place for me aren't really how I want it to be.perhaps my life is to be an inspiration to others,perhaps I am to meet people in this course that wld inspire me,perhaps it's just to toughen me up.

next work week is starting again.I'm glad to be kept busy every day(: weekends can get kinda boring.I try to go out as long as I can cos I got ntg to do at home.zzz and my mum is getting really unreasonable sometimes.sarcastic in her texts to me "wow,why not home yet?" erm cos I'm still out.arugh.I will go home la.not like I'm gna get raped -.- (touches wood)

oh,gna meet the s29 girls soon.excited!!hahah I'm happy to have meetups cos in my workplace,they aren't many teenagers and the mode of interaction is different.I miss whining and blabbering nonsense.hahah ya abit suffocating now trying to be sane all the time.at times like this,I miss school madly!

but im so glad that I met up with scotchtape on fri at imm.had swensens.what I ordered wasn't satisfying but still the company was awesome.it was a great but short catch up session(: they told me,whenever I'm free on Friday,give them a ring,they wld be somewhere having dinner.loves them <3 thanks for being so understanding!

when reality sinks in,it certainly hit hard.
im not as strong as I thought I was,I felt so pathetic.I cldnt face the world.I cldnt face people.
very glad for people in my life,giving me constant encouragement and love as I struggle upon getting a grip upon myself.I'm not being proud,but I believed that perhaps I deserved a btr grade.perhaps,I just wasn't the best out of the best.
let me take it as a lesson learnt,forcing me to take a path less travelled.I'm thinking of taking up a private uni degree in accountancy.at least it wld be btr than going to a course for the sake of the name of the school and ultimately,suffering.this route wld probably compromise the campus life however,I can't be more grateful for the alternatives that is presented before me.

yup as the title stated,my little baby sister's birthday is coming soon!!on Sunday to be exact.it has been four years,its so amazing to see how much she changed over the years.and I really remembered most of it all(:

let's start when she was a little girl,let's go on a photo journey(:

i remembered clearly when my mum was pregnant with my younger sis I felt really ashamed (perhaps cos I was rather immature) and I was rather angry that there wld be a new addition to my family.
on the day she was born four years ago,I received a text from my father in school.I cried.don't know why.perhaps it was the fear of change?I still don't know why that incident jolted my tear glands.I refused to visit my mum in the hospital nor took a look at my sister when they returned.yes I can be rather stubborn huh that's me,I rather be in a comfortable place than to move on.but thats part and parcel of life.and change is inevitable(:

sincerely,I do not recall when my attitude towards my sister changed.I started to play with her and all.indeed,having young kids in the family is a joy.sometimes their adorable-ness just puts a smile on your face after a long day.now,at 3 going on 4,my sister can speak relatively fluently.but she is quite temperamental.it's like she can have a love-hate relationship with you.I enjoy her company and bubbly-ness!!I hope she wld grow up to be a lovely lady.and I wld be a old woman alr!!hahah(:

RESULTS
yes it dawned on me that march 4 is so near!!actly I'm still trying to live in denial that it's next Friday.my oh my,if you ask me if I'm confident of my results,I'm not.I tried my best to spot topics and excel in areas after prelims.without any exams as a benchmark so I don't know where I stand.but what is done can't be undone.I have to face the reality and leave my life to the Lord cos I believe he has his way of working wonders,after all he brought me through A's and the past eighteen plus years of my life(so old alr D: teen age years are gng to be over soon)
I wonder where wld everyone proceed on from here.frankly speaking,I'm looking forward to meeting my jc mates especially my class mates,09s29.haven't seen them in months!!but I'm just afraid we wld not hang out after the results cos there wld be mixed emotions arnd D: anyways,I'm praying for the best for my dearies getting their results okay 

WORK
I confirmed the pay alr(: I'm not telling!!hahah with work the week seems to go by abit faster cos im getting rather busy.that's good.getting along find with colleagues(: they are all nice and sweet people,enjoying my time!
I'm glad that they are willing to guide me along the work and they don't get angry with me,they just say nvm.and sometimes it causes them to do more work.the lady guiding me told me that she believe that everyone is trying to make a living,why make life so hard for each other.
so true right!why must people be so mean to each other,betrayal and all.perhaps it's just for higher status but still make it enjoyable!a pleasant workplace is more productive right(:

I shall end my post here.and I'm super excited for month end cos I want to get my pay soon(: money faced right!!hahah I want more clothes(:

and I really sincerely wish my IB msg arrives soon.my btt is in less than a month and I need to book theory practices and do evaluation :/ I'm just afraid that they are still processing it or even that they didn't get it.tried ATM but didn't work and I didn't dare to stand there too long cos ppl were waiting behind me.oh my,worrisome me!!

HELLO PEOPLE!
I believe many people have given up on my blog. -inserts sad face- -- hahah I have decided to update because I haven't seen many people lately,but I hope to update my dear friends ❤ -aww- and I dl-ed a new app to blog.hoping to try it out!!
the year has barely started(like one month plus alr,so fasttt!) and many things happened.yeah,more happening than schooldays leh!hahah
I forgotten if I updated abt this.I found a job in ion,shop name is net and I started in Jan.i loved the environment,for instance the people(: they were a really friendly bunch.but of course through the course of the job I had good and bad moments.I learnt that retail jobs and customer service weren't really my thing.and I really struggled everytime I went for a shift,counting and yearning for the end of the shift.through this experience I really salute salespeople who know what they are selling inside out because I really struggled with familiarizing of the clothes.cos it's like you are a part timer and they keep changing position of the clothes and new stocks arrive.so its abt adapting daily,quickly.and for working hours,I barely worked enough to hit 500bucks of earnings for a month D: due to lack of customers,many times my shift was cut short or even cancelled.was kinda unhappy abt this,after all I was free and i wanted to work more!
and so..I applied for two jobs.office jobs.because they are more regular,at least i wld be bringing back a stable income(:
I waited and no reply frm either side so I continued into feb with net.
and yup in Jan I took on another part time in data entry,didn't work for long with the person as schedules clashed and I wasn't really comfortable in the work setting plus low pay.however,it was a good experience as I gained some knowledge in admin(:
so back to my story,through another friend,I learnt that a job I was waiting for required me to call them in order to reserve a slot and be hired by them.it was iras.so I called and I was given a job starting in march.so I was intending to carry on with net until end of feb.
however,on 8feb I received a call from credit suisse saying that I got a job doing admin but I'm required to start asap.honestly,I was waiting earnestly for this job,as it was pretty high paying and the company is pretty recognized too!good for resume.but they needed me to start asap :/ so I had to quit net immediately.I felt damn bad okay!!but someone told me that credit suisse was more stable,and more pay.so I went down to sign a form to quit and I'm in another job.and went to report for work on 10feb.
work environment is pretty comfortable(: people do joke around sometimes but they get their work done and I bought office wear but the place was semi formal wear.waste money D: so now im shopping and I hope I can get clothes that fit my style yet I can wear to office!!spending so much money  hahah but i have been there for two days,i hope everything goes fine.I know I won't get fired cos I'm on a min 4 months contract.hopefully I can save enough to go on holiday 
yup so did I bore you with my working life yet?hahah
chinese new year!spent one day doing visitation,the other days I went to work(at net cos it was double pay :D) and went out with friends.I wore my pretty maxi.love it!(next im gna hunt for a jumpsuit and a simple maxi that I can wear to work(: )

Reflection of 2010

I'm back!there was some compelling urge to blog to end the year of 2010.To describe 2010 in a sentence,it just went past way too fast to really recall.

Let's recap the highlights and lowlights of 2010!

FIRSTLY,
its THE BIG A!!well i survived,along with many other people in my batch(: i went through alot of ups and downs during the examination.along with many disappointments and anxiety.exams,especially major ones are never easy.but really i thank God for bringing me through.now i really have to worry about the results and if i would be able to make it to a local university.yes,no overseas university dreams for me,dont think im rich enough to afford one of those.unless miracle happens and i am offered a scholarship.sigh,fat hope,right?for 2011,i dont wish to retake my A levels and i hope to get in a good enough course,something i would enjoy,yeah?

SECONDLY,
its the class that i have been rather attached to for the last 2years(to round it up).people have entered and people had left,but amazingly theres this group of people that remained bonded.been through many crazy happenings throughout the years,i swear its countless!thanks for giving me strength through the year,thanks really.well,as we go through separate paths soon.i wish all of you all the best okay.of course, we will catch up soon yeah :DDD

THIRDLY,
twitter :D hahah seriously.it has been my source of output although i tend to filter things that i post online,perhaps i dont get too personal.but thats me,i would share more with people i'm closer too.so *hinthint*.okay,theres nothing to hint about.twitter for me has also brought me closer to the world,the ugly truth of the world and brought me closer to friends that i sort of lost contact with for the past few years.for me,its a social networking site that i got addicted to.and i think its there to stay for you can flood people's timeline like nobody's business and they cant say much.HAHAHAH!!

FOURTHLY,
friends,from secondary school that have been there,remembering me even though i have not met up with you all for a long time.thanks for occasionally inviting me to hang out with you all.i'm thankful for your company(: with you all,laughters and topics can be never ending sometimes.in the new year,i will try my best to meet with you all more often.

OKAY, those are really generalistion of the year.I'm thankful for everyone in my life,be it 'hi-bye friends',classmates,churchmates,family,close friends.everyone has a definite impact on me,changed my view of things and many more.not to be very godly here, i really thank God for walking by me though i have pulled myself away.thank you for your grace :DDD

FOR THE NEW YEAR
This new year would definitely be a different year,a new life,a new beginning.its like almost going to step out in the real world.its scary,huh?maybe thats why people say schooling is always the best time of people's life.i must learn not to be too dependent on people and start to make personal decisions that revolve my life around others.others before self.temper management.things that i have to work on.i am going to work in a retail outlet,i dont know if i can earn enough money.but i hope it would be fun.maybe i can get a better paying job in the meantime.pray for me yeah :D

anws,I'm in the midst of my prelims :/ and it's rather bad :( ok,I'm not THAT prepared and it's kinda frightening with how much I do not know.time to buck up.
and lately,I have not been in the best of health.I feel sick two times in two months.perhaps I'm ill-treating my body much :( as you know,when I fall sick,it wld be kinda bad :( tonsils were swollen for the last week,starting simultaneously with my prelims.so it was really bad D: oh wells,lesson learnt!hahah
and oh yeah,yog was in Singapore!!saw some really hot athletes ♥♥♥ melts,yes both guys and girls.tall,good looking,and good in sports.what a lovely combination(: heh!!eyes had the best treat ever.

hahah,thats besides the point,i had a blast on my birthday,though it was really simply crazily hot!!
visited marina bay sands,well that place was a disappointment for me,everything was half done and to think they still wna open it to the public :( tourists must be really disappointed if they chose to stay there.well,couldnt they wait a little longer,and made sure it made a lasting impression on tourists :D hahah,and i went to check out the parking,it was $8 for the first hour,scared the living daylights out of me,and viewing the skypark was $18.88 per head!wow,whats with the number 8?hahah

so walked around marina square,wasnt in the shopping mood so decided to head for a guitar store,sinamex(:

(parking coupon on my birthday :D )

after which i met scotchtape at night for dinner in bugis.
went to this wang kok char chan teng cos the humongous milk tea which is served free with a birthday celebration attracted them :D

gornormous right!!and we managed to finish it too.it caused me a little insomnia at night too ,and it tasted almost the same as the one in hongkong!you should try too!
its at bugis junction level 2,take the small link from watsons there!the food is not bad too,but service was a little problematic in my opinion :(
oh ya,they got me two nice sleeveless tees and boxers,really cute and comfortable,I WANT MORE :D WHERE DID YOU ALL GET THEM FROM?

netballers in jj gave me little notes <3 hahah i like reading heartfelt messages,and i can do so over and over again :D

classmates gave me this bright blue num bag,thanks loadsssssssssssssss,its really pretty,kinda adventurous colour for a bag too!!

my dad also gave me this bangle,pretty huh,but price kinda shocked me :( hahaha i dont know if i dare to wear it out though :(

BARE YOUR SOLE 2010!
i dare say it was a once in a lifetime experience,walking barefoot over 5km (: hahah it wasnt as bad cos we walked on the roads and the whole group blocked the cycling track,i do pity the cyclist :D
netherless,it was great fun,camwhoring along the way,getting caught in the rain,looking at cute kids in oversized teeshirts(: hahah it was quite a worthwhile cip,i think many would agree as well!!but the waking up early and walking 5 km made me really exhausted :(

SENTOSA OUTING 070610(:
it was the most sporty sentosa outing as quoted!we played beach volleyball,touch rugby and ultimate frisbee the whole day,had a game of idiot poker,and we didnt even really enter the water(yayee!!)

had loads of fun and laughter,and i learnt many new games which were really really fun :D hahah got burnt(but i love my new found tan!!very niceeeeeeeeeeeeee),got scarred by sand,left me tired for one whole day.but i guess it was worth it cos it brought my happy-o-meter to the MAXIMUM!!

talking about happy-o-meter,i went shopping at cotton on.i think that shopping in cotton on is loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,especially when they are having sales,i always want to buy loads of things from there!!hahah :DDD and i managed to find my wet-look(or leathery material) leggings,been looking for it for quite a long time.and i got it as a steal in cotton on,5bucks :DDD

yup,we got kicked out of the a division tournament.well,I won't say that it's because the team is not strong,I still believe we are capable of making it into the nxt round.the problem is,we didn't fight hard enough.oh wells,at least my swan song to my netball career was a good and well fought game.
no more tournaments/trainings means I got more time dedicated to studying(: and other things as well,heh

it's been a looooooong time since I updated probably cos I don't use my computer so often anymore.
yup my new distraction is my iPhone(: and no I'm not gna donate it to anyone!!yea,I'm just so selfish.
hahah,I have been using my iPhone to update my facebook status,surf the net and chat(which saves a whole lot of sms)
andandand,I played this game(almost similar to scrabble!!) and I learnt a brand new word.QUEY.

and it earned me a crazy 108 points(: used it twice!!
quey isn't a word I happily made up.it means(from dictionary.com) a heifer which is a young cow over the age of one that has not produced a calf.

and I realized I have been rather distracted lately,and no it isn't the iPhone,I just can't seem to concentrate,there's so many OTHER things I wna do but studying is not on the list,sigh.

speaking of studies and grades,I got my pw results back.got a B just as my sixth sense predicted.yup my sixth sense is scarily true!!
I don't think i'm disappointed with my B cos I didn't give it my all for pw,so it was stg I expected and deserved!
back to the topic on my sixth sense,it has been rather accurate since secondary school,let's start from sec4,had to get back my Chinese results.I had this really really bad feeling that I wld get a B3,I rmb clearly that it was after a netball game and my friend's tchr told her she has an A1.so on the bus journey back to school I received a call from my friend,and true enough I got a B3.I kept crying,didn't know why.maybe I was just disappointed..

but not in the loveliest mood at all. sighsighsigh :( maybe i shouldnt have said those words.BUT no point regretting i guess :(
anw,this week has been absolutely exhausting,and spiced with a little fun and laughter along the way.
but i guess ytd it really hit me that im actly rather stressed up and tired (emotionally and mentally) although i may just shrug off problems,with a smile,but when it mountains,it can be really stifling.
oh wells,no more ranting and complaining girl (maybe its my way to make ppl listen to me and vent my stress--by babbling non-stop?)

i went for it(: first time in my life leh(: went with salad and aileen to great world city.took an EXTREMELY long bus ride there!hahah and when i reached there i realised i have been there before,except not by bus/train :D
had this really bimbotic moment on the bus.

BUSY BUSY WEEKEND
its crazy and the school placed a parents information session on university admission on saturday.and the best thing is,ITS RIGHT SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON 1.30-5.30.

like please,i thought you were extremely focused on results,so the saturday afternoon is such an inconvenient timing.just because some parents are 5 and a half day workers.how about us,the students?like me,i would NEVER place a tuition session in the afternoon.and i need time to relax as well,i need my saturday off.i want to rest.why must it be compulsory.

i know,people may be thinking why am i so resistant to this session,after all its impt to know about how to work about applying into university.but to me,my saturday is a time to relax from the really tiring week..

sigh,netball is also taking up all my time and energy and concentration.i know that trngs work towards achieving something in the tournaments but i dont really like to crawl out of bed on saturday morning to go for trng and friendly.

TEST DAY!!and i could and could not do the test at the same time.
its like,ohmygosh,i think i have seen this somewhere,but i dont know how to do it :((
but the paper was quite tough,in my opinion,for others,i dont know.

after that we had chemistry remedial.
went through test corrections.
i did really well for my test given that i studied kinda last minutely.
it was all simply pure luck i presume.
and i feel that chemistry is my only hope.everything else has died :(
SIGH!

jinghui's birthday :D celebrated and sang birthday song for her and the class shared a jacket for her :D

after which,the class went for lunch at macs.
and i tried connecting to the wireless@sg but to no avail.

we were taking bus and it was so CROWDED ok,and people refused to move in please.
my theory on buses is that if people alight,there should be space for more people to enter.agreed?well,alot of people alighted frm the bus but yet people who wanted to board the bus werent able to.tsk to singaporeans.
so we reach kallang netball centre.and i swear i felt i was gna fail.but the person said he was there to pass us and so we did.but i only could umpiring primary school level,need more practice.heh(: im not an umpire by nature alright.but i learnt alot on umpiring.like when the person catch the ball,look at the feet first then distance.and sorry i wasnt a good umpire,IM NEW.and sorry i didnt blow you for offside.annoying!
we ended really late and WE DIDNT HAVE DINNER.
so we rushed for dinner and rushed home,had trng the next day somemore lor.i reached home at 12.i swear i WAS EXHAUSTED!!

hello im backk!!and i changed my blogskin(:
wow im o hardworking(: i deserve a pat on the back!hahahhah

ok i know i shldnt be using the comp right now (cos i got a maths test to study for ~~DIE!!~~ ) but im waiting for songs to load into my phone thats why!!

the last week has been awesomely tiring,SERIOUSLY!!
had to chiong for chemistry organic test on monday.

wed had friendly with uwc people,well they were REALLY TALL ANGMOHS!not that im short,but they were LANKY AND SKINNY AND LOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!hahahha the team took a while to really figure out how to play with them.and did i mention that we arrived late,bus picked us up at 345 when the game started at 445.we took awhile to find the netball court,the place is HUGE!!so i wasnt really prepared throughout the game :(( nvm bah :(

thurs had the prize giving for completed track and field events.and there were a very loooooooooong list :( got my high jump medal.and they were very disorganised la,i reached early somemore!!see im so cooperative!!

friday was sports meet.
house councillors sent numerous messages asking us to meet earlier and EVEN earlier!!
so had to leave hse 10mins earlier.
in the end i ran 4x100m and fartlek(1st runner)
fartlek was really exciting to watch,owens were alwys lagging behind cos there were slow runners placed in the first 9 runners.and the last few runners were FAST ones and they had to CHASE AND CHASE AND CHASE!! :(( hahaha and hyeon run well for fartlek,overtaking the 4th person,to get 3rd!!woohoo :DDD

4x1oom i think we were either 2nd or 3rd.but there was abit of mistake in the results.the people who OBVIOUSLY were 1st were called out.we were kinda upset,dk if they are making ammendments.i still think we were supposed to get a medal!!

so although owens(my hse) didnt do well overally,at least i did my best nad came in top 3 for the events i took part in :D

after sports day,went to swensens with the netballers.1-for-1 offer!!i like(: hahhah i had this double cheese burger which was EXTREMELY filling!!so satisfying!!went to the library to study after that,study session failed!!hahahhah

so went for the friendly at rv in rv.the school is crazily huge can :(( i want a big school TOO!!friendly in indoor court.i played defense for the last quarter.hahah i have made another switch,from shooter to defender.i dont think im a good shooter,just that maybe i can do movements and run a accurate timings(kinda)and im not a hardcore defender cos i can be super lost on court.and when that happens,i will get screamed at!!

and i realised that when i play defender i fall more often,hahah maybe its the nature of the position i guess!!

and ya,friendly with snrs on sat.we were so exhausted la please :((

males are the head of the family which means they love,care and provide for the wife (not only economically!!),wives should be submissive,not that they do not have any say but they do things for the husband and make the husband look good.
well something to remember i guess.i learnt this in church and its rephrased according to my understanding

hello people!!im back to blog,hahaha im feeling lazy (as usual).i shall give a little update on my life??oh ya,and i think i should change my blogskin,its so HARD to read :(( well,i will.one of these days!!i promise.

my body is ACHING ALL OVER!!
i dont know why,probably its due to all the sports day heats??
oh gosh,i can say im rather pissed,maybe.i had to run 100m for heats,and i wasnt informed,clearly,so i refused to run.its not that i wasnt to make things difficult but 100m is not my forte and i didnt even have proper attire.if you were to just ASK rather than assume,i may agree.
well,at least i was ASKED to do high jump and i had a little background,so i agreed to join.turns out its a team event.and i helped my house clinch a 2nd prize!!woohoo medal :DDDD
i think its all the jumping that made me ache all over!!my back hurts,my thigh hurts,i want a massage!!

CHINESE A LEVEL RESULTS!!
i was so so soooooooooooooo relieved!!well at least i didnt waste a year of learning chinese.i got a B!!hahahh so happy!and i will work towards good grades for a's.
~~sigh,why is it that people that are supposed to be closer to me dont even care.it doesnt help by saying all the nice things long after.im just utterly disappointed and hurt,thats all~~

hello(: i know i havent blogged for a godzillion years.forgive me,i was getting kinda lazy :D anws,quite abit of drama happened in my life.

now,im not exactly allowed to go out for dinner,until i start reaching home on time.i know im gna piss ppl off by rushing them to go home.sigh i hate to be rushed(and to rush) :((

andandand,i have changed phone to samsung sgh-f480i!!i like it cos its white,so so so chio(: tried my best to protect it (but dropped it a few times liao)

shopping for chinese new year clothes and shoes were really really dreadful :( and the fact that i was really picky didnt help.i wanted a dress that was long enough so i didnt have to wear leggings,and it must look good too.searched,lost my temper,got sian and i finally found my dress and shoesssssssssss.although only one set,im sick of looking :( but i need to get more clothes (for daily wear),if only i was rich and not so picky (maybe even,not so tall) :(

ohmygosh school is starting in 3-4 days!!someone kill me before i get killed by the teachers seriously.i have been playing too much during the holidays,but looking back,my holidays have been eventful(: so i dont regret a single outing i had,whether its just a short while or the whole day(:

oh its feels like last year to me.just that when i look at the date it says JANUARY 2009!!arugh,so depressing :(( (dk why actly,hee)

and i broken a few resolutions already,boohoo!!must stop losing temper unecessarily!!and stop slacking.and im blogger now cos i dont feel like doing homework!havent touched maths for ages,so when i do maths now its like TORTURE!or rather im lazy to think :((

which makes me remember,i got an additional RESOULUTION to make!!
STOP BEING LAZY!! (sometimes its the easiest way to escape from things but in the long run it wld come back and hurt/haunt you,i guess sometimes my laziness cause ppl to lose some trust in me??)

the year started out fine(: i guess!

initially planned to stay at home to study/be a good girl.cos parents are complaining (as alws) that i keep going out.whats wrong :( i missed all the countdown celebrations :(( but,i was told that i can get a FREE TICKET TO AVATAR 3D.ok i wasnt excited abt that.but heck,it was FREE and on a public holiday,was told the ticket cost 13 bucks and that avatar was good(acting like a kiasu singaporean i went for it) in the end had to wait outside the cinema of great world city for one person to come with the tickets..we waited and waited and the person came late :(( couldnt get a chance to take a pic with the 3D glasses.
verdict of the show:i fell aslp at the fighting part of the show,and the 3D was scary,with all the blue ppl so near to me,they were blue and NOT HOT so i didnt manage to keep my attentoon.i liked the love story portion(typical me :DD)

after that loooooooooooooooooooooooong show,parents told me at abt 6 to go to jp at 630!!how to get there in time?plus i was slacking elsewhere.

so in the end,i dilly-dallied and reached jp at 7 :DDD
they wanted to eat pizza hut but queue was too long so went to bakerzin instead!awesome descision!!had some spicy pasta with tabasco sauce(i added it) and cakeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee(: so awesomely sinful :((

oohooh and i went to popular after that i saw iCoat(s) they are having 5 for 49 bucks.original price for each was $22.90 each and the set used to cost 69 bucks.I WANT!!but abit redundant to get all 5 leh :( and i was told to get one frm pasar malam,cheaper(but not as chio leh,maybe shall decorate it with crystals,if my artistic talents dont fail me? :DD) and i saw covers at hk that were so pretty but my old phone didnt spoil yet and i didnt get the iphone from dad yet (its his spare phone)

andand i walked into cd rama and saw this ONTO headsets and i saw gold and silver versions of the headset.and the worse thing is i just bought a earpiece not long ago..sighsighsigh!!didnt take a pic,but shld i get it?its the same price as the other colours,and its a limited colour..how!!wished my birthday was near :((

im just as reluctant for the new year to come(as always)

well lets recap the grand year of 2009

RELEASE OF O LEVEL RESULTS
it was a very disappointing time of the year for me.
i remembered i cried and i cried till my eyes hurt.
got an L1R5 of 14 and plus i failed my higher chinese (D7),which means i only have my bonus points for cca to rely on.
and i guess my dreams to enter VJ was dashed.
pondered on gng to poly instd,but cldnt find a suitable course.
in the end i place JJ as a last resort,was praying not to enter there but i did.wanted to appeal out but was too lazy..
so yup,began my life in junior college.

LIFE IN JJ
well,i didnt mug as crazily as many others.
i just did work at my own pace,i dont chiong through hw once i got them,but i still managed to finish MOST of the hw.
i had some good tutors and some not so good ones.
and i gave up on some subjects i took..
but i still maanged to promote(:
and i got an edusave award of 250 bucks (award voucher,i hope its cash!!)

MY CLASS O9S29
i dare say we are bonded but only maybe half the class.
the class brought me alot of laughter and happiness,and close friends as well.
a group of people that are rather honest with each other(:
love them!!

so there was supposed to be arnd 15 ppl gng.
was in charge of drinks,so bought 30 packets,thinking it wld be just enough for 15 ppl.
in the end only four ppl arrived early,went to palawan beach.felt like tourists!! :D

abit sad la.so we waited and waited and waited for someone who said would bring fried rice/rice with toppings.we were STARVING :(

but the person arrived with THIS :(

we were in such shock (and abit of anger) we cldnt help laughing and acting crazily to cover the anger :(

so the four of us went to koufu,and tried to get some toppings.in the end,emerle's friend suggested we ask the shop owner to cook fried rice for us!

so we did and had to pay 40bucks!!!arugh!!our yin-yang(after eating) (:

got back to the two towers after the bridge to eat our log cake from bakerzin(: I LIKE!!
but when the wind blew,sand got in :( so we got sandy logcake!!hahhaha

we did present exchange amongst 3 ppl who actly brought presents!and i got bubble soln,so cute!!

after that,4 of us were left(again!!) so we walked arnd,visited the MERLION!!

oh yah,each of us had to bring back four packets of drinks :(
it was kinda pathetic but fun.and i was kinda broke,thinking that we were organising a potluck!!

tinkle friend camp 2009

reached the place with hyeon and nothing happened!hahhaha (joking :D)
okay abt fifteen minutes passed and the real people in charge came and asked the kids to register.
so they were lining in the queue and these boys in the queue commented that they were the only few people in their school and yada yada.their convo was quite cute,so me and hyeon laughed.and one of the boys looked at us and said:'very funny meh?'we were stunned. that was scary,coming frm a primary school kid.and we were hoping that the boy wasnt in either of our group.and luckily he wasnt,but turned out he was quite nice(:

my group was small and really crazy abt UNO.arugh,the game that is no longer fun ever since the continous playing in p6 after PSLE.and my group had some conflicting ideas and people who were difficult to handle,or bluntly weird!!!

we escaped to the zoo toooooooooooooooooo!didnt really had time to play and have fun,wna go back by myself with friends again!!hahhahaha had a hard time trying to make the kids walk or cooperate or stay in the group.andandand,the animal world in the zoo is rather open and we happen to see certain scenes!for instance,

look at the first zebra,theres something sticking out.its quite huge!i shall leave you to guess.one of the kids mentioned that it was giving birth,but its not!hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

last day,had the performance,which was a rather complete disaster!not their fault,they are kids :( and drew on photo frames :D i loved mine!but the glitter didnt dry in time :(
in all,the camp was awesome yet horrible,but i need to tune down my temper-big time!

i just came back from tinkle friend camp.HORRIBLE YET AWESOME! i think it is so apt to decribe the experience.well,there are loads of difficulties faced.and tolerance levels was highly challenged.and im guilty of losing my cool.using my unhappy tone,saying things like 'keep quiet','shutup','hurry up'.but i managed to NOT shout at them!yay for me.you cant imagine how much i complain after every session,and my energy is totally drained by the end of the last day :( group members asked if i would help out next year.my answer is i dont know.but if i attend another camp,i must be mentally prepared to deal with things that test my tolerance!

it has been ages since i last blogged.the laziness to blog is coming back.but as sherilyn is such a nice girl,i shall update all my darlings.
promos are over,school resumes.

BUT WHERE IS MY FREAKING MARKING DAY HOLIDAYS.
i need a break, i havent fully recovered frm the panic and stress frm cramming all the knowledge during promos.

promos ended on the 6th,got back some results on the 9th so fast right,the teachers are marking MACHINES man and some paper today.i dare say i did pretty well for my papers so far,promotable.or maybe its jus sheer luck?hmmmmmm.but i do know i tried my best and the results i got back were exceeding my expectations for some.just glad and lucky i guess.
but im moe worried for others who are in danger of not promoting.i really hope that through the experience they will grow.but i would miss them loadsloadsloads.sigh.

i want to go shopping badly,but i dont know what to get.i have such a limited waredrobe that i dread choosing what to wear :( i have no money too.i need to get new shoes (to replace th curent ones that are spoiling) and more CLOTHES.

feel like catching up with people i havent met for a couple of months,just feel like talking.

hello world(: yup the title is so true!i do miss and love anderson secondary school to the max.
well, i dare say i spent one of the greatest time of my schooling life there, met with the awesome-mest bunch of friends and had the bestest teachers in the world!
if i were to choose all over again, i would probably pick the same path.
super cliche but its so true(:
but all i can say is i let the school down for underperforming in the o's.
oh wells, what is done cnt be undone :(
but i would rmb what my geog tchr(MRSLIM) told me just now,its doesnt matter if you dont like the school system or the school you are in,just have to work hard and do yourself proud.
would just have to go that extra mile and kick away my laziness and do myself proud(:

im back again!to blog abt some interesting stuffs that happened!
lets see, where did i end off?

wednesday for training we had to clear and move the netball stores and pain the netball pole!
for the cleaning of netball stores we had to move a cupboard out of the room and into another.
and for 6 small petite small girls,we managed to do a job well done(:

after that we painted the poles(:
brignt green!looks kinda weird :( it shld be good for my eyes as a shooter (cos its green(: )
some paint dripped on my fringe :(
but managed to get it off through thinner!
AND AND AND THINNER DOESNT CORRODE HAIR!WOOHOO!
stole some 2007 orientation tees (: manage to find the last M size shirt :D

and today!finally got to go home early,or rather, get released early from school!
geog tchr want here and my last lesson,chem cld move forward.YAYNESS!school eneded at 1!
so i went to meet scotchtape,minshan and lihui first.
decided to go back to anderson(: miss the place,i spent one of the best times of my life there.
minus the heat and the uniform and the facilities.
hahhahahha!
so got back testimonial,FINALLY!and saw my ugly o level grades,oh wells.
talked to some tchrs and my netball coach.
st john jnrs were cooking and minshan went to grab some food.rawr!greedy woman!
she made my eat some fried rice that looked like mashed potato and tasted like vomit.ohmans!
stoned and blah,nth much though.
jiale joined later.so did jianyu who was on his way home anyway.
couldnt join them for dinner.

it has been a long time!sorry was procrascinating :( i hope im forgiven :D

i would start from 070809(:

went to school but could dress in TOTALLY home clothes(: so i wore white (no red though)

my class(: well a bunch of nice people except some though :( i guess there are people i cnt get along with bah.

comments abt national day celebrations:none.
we were in our own little world,unaware of what was happening because we were far away from the main crowd.
the frisbee competition was rather entertaining, all teams played well(:

after which,ally hyeon and me! went to jp to eat and play arcade and watch a movie!
hangover!well the movie was kinda average, attached with humour (kinda)
its nc16,it is the right rating,so kids under 16 dont try to sneak in!

was wearing contacts and i lost my spectacle box-- in the movie cinema :(
realised it after i got home.
so i found little containers to place my contacts(no extra lens case) and wore my old specs (which was SOOOOO blur cos of th scraches and it give me headaches,so no work was accomplished)
well,actly i dint know for sure if it was in the movie theatre,but my sister asked me to acc her to jp on saturday.so i did,and tried my luck and i found it(actly the staff at gv found it) so damn relieved!
I FOUND MY SPECS

and today!today!
went to the metro expo sale.i dare say it was a fruitful shopping trip.
managed to find treasures there!i believe im good a this!

sandals!well was thinking if it should last till nxt year end, i might be able to wear it to prom(:

slippers,my sisters bought the same pattern others colours.but mine is the nicest(:

wallet,so nice right!

hello lovelies (:
im back after all the procrastination!
i decided that i should tell people where i am now and hows life going on for me.
yup,so after the very depressing o level results and all the comtemplating,i decided to enter jc instead of poly.im now in JJ!for those who dont know,its jurong jc.its near to my place(: hahha so shorter trips to and fro,but stupid waiting hours.oh man,i cant take the time i have to wait for the bus sometimes.oh well,stop complaining!
jurong jc is fine,orientation was simpy AWESOME!with all the wet games,crazy screaming,mass dances and not to forget the bonding with my class 09S29.they are a wonderful bunch of people.and they certaintly made my studying time in jj great!being the only andersonian there,sometimes i do feel weird or out of place.but i can say im very lucky to be where i am,be it the class and my group of friends.maybe its also an opportunity to live life all over again.be a different me perhaps.
lecturers there are rather good,and i got some good tutors.however some are really ohmygosh.but i think i would be able to make it,if i study hard and do constant revision.i can say i dont want the o level nightmare to repeat.
i joined netball for the testimonial i guess.its not to say that the netball team isnt nice,i just dont feel at home there.i do miss giants!but netherless,i think they are relatively a good team.i just am not goo enough.
although jj is great(: i miss my old friends,somehow i cant really tell my new friends everything..oh wells,i will make it through!and i love all my dear friends,be it new or old.

for this aspect,i admit that my laziness takes over!

this year has been rather great and lovely.after all its a ~~NEW~~ year.
but it has been rather tiring,with all the courses,mastery tests and so many things that crop up after school.
i cant seem to find time to rush home and take my own sweet time to slack and do my work.

but what do i expect,its like im one year older ~~so there should be more responsibilities~~

so im like sec fours?currently getting used to the term.
still writing 2007 instead of 2008 on worksheets,3/3 intead of 4/3 on notes.

enjoying lessons,dont dread some lessons as much.

this weekend was really activity-packed!

i want to say I HATE LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG BUS RIDES!
i can stand mrt rides but bus rides are a no no!
and i did sth very clever!i went to yishun and took a 45 min bus ride to st.margs.
when my hse is rather near there.
i could take half and hour? to reach there.
okay shut up,sherilyn!
and i was like santa ytd,i gave presents and candy canes to ppl in netball!

luckily,my dad was there to fetch (or send) me to ecp!
class bbq!
it was fun at the end when we started to play truth or dare.
i think we shld have a class chalet next year!
had to leave soon,cos dad was here.hahah
i bet there was a lot of unfinished food.
no one bothered to cook it bah :(
mahjong craze is getting into me now.
but im not good with it yet..

its christmas yet again!means all the pretty christmas lights on the street,eating to your hearts' delight,receiving presents!so how was yours?

the presents i received,some were lovely,some were okay.
well,after all it the thought that counts! (:
and i think im going to meet some more ppl the next few days,so theres more gift exchange!

anw anw,i went to qiaoyin's hse ytd!
with the NZJZ gang.
fyi,its qiaoyin,ger,lihui,mishan,tingzhi,dorothea, (jiale and beeyee who werent there)
had steamboat,still a little japan-sick mah.
thus!i cracked the (raw) egg,mixed it up.
and i started eating happily,dipping the food in and than eat..
hahah its tough to explain but i hope you understand.
i ate until i was SUPER bloated!(there is still some bloated feeling now) hahah
and i ate alot okay!

JAPAN TRIP!

well, there arent so many candid shots cos most of the time it is just mf and me.

day 1
flew to fukuoka,was a midnight-morning flight.
saw the sunrise on the plane.
pretty right?

first stop!

next,we made soba noodles for lunch!

after that we hiked up MT ASO (:
was quite cold,had a little smoke thinggy coming out of our mouth,yay!

well,didnt bring up camera,afraid it would freeze too.LOL!

they have toilet slippers.cute? ~~some other hotel has a cuter one but im lazy!~~

day2
went to some riverhead thing.drank water there,well and nth!wahaha

water gushing out like-wow!

outside the lunch place.

saw the sunset and ran out of the musuem that is telling us things that arent relavant to us.

the hotel was near the sea and jogging there is really relaxing,i swear i can run like forever there!

germaine,KAME!

day 4
went to see a waterfall,pretty but not that fasinating.
had buffet lunch,but was too bloated due to breakfast and i couldnt eat much :( i love buffets so much!
went to mt sakurajima,it is so active,haha but it didnt erupt when we were there :p
andandand plucked oranges,they were so sweet and nice,unlike the ones we get in singapore.

had shopping after that.

personal comment:the shopping centres we went to were rather high class.with all those branded goods from the western countries.hello!i went to japan for japanese goods and fashion lor!

day5
went to this dairy farm,it has tons of cows there.
we made pizza and bread there..

the place was really cosy and had this homely feeling.I LIKE!

went to DAIICHI JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL!
i so felt like a star,was welcomed so warmly.

didnt take much pictures,was in a state of shock (:

i so think that they should place this in SINGAPRE schools.

went around to play various sports later,played baseball outdoors and it was freezing lar!
it was okay lar,could throw catch and bat a little,but didnt play the whole game,sadly :(

SHOPPING DAY
had to visit the science centre.
went scouting for cute guys..lalala a high school(class?) was there too.
shhh!i shant say too much.
and had to visit a temple first.
the two are so cute,and i think we like scared them.hahha gomenasai if i scared you (to them)

shopping was alright lar.
deco was so pretty and quite well done,not some stupid christmas tree in the middle of the shopping centre.
the hotel was nice!room was the biggest of the whole level,and it rained the first time ever since we were there.

tadaima!im back (:
japan was so nice;and i seem to be abruptly woken up in this *ahem* world.
i certainly missed japan especially kagoshima.
ok ~~i like the way the say ok!~~ i shall start reporting what i did there.

flew off to japan!a long and rather boring 6 hrs flight.
couldnt sleep AT ALL!the shows were not to my liking.
travelled and went sightseeing and travelled and eat and sleep and eat and sleep and travelled.
does that sound like a pig to you?
haha i bet i gain a few kgs on the trip.
~~i could even feel my tummy..~~bleahs
had too much japanese food until im so damn sick of the smell of ~~japanese~~ rice.
totally enjoyed that day when we have B-U-F-F-E-T lunch!
but i could not go for rounds and rounds and rounds of food
was too bloated lar :(

okay,okay fast forward to the day of staying in the host family's place.
when we reached the school,we were greeted by a whole group of students from DAIICHI JR.HIGH SCHOOL
i have to admit,i felt a ~~teeny weeny~~ bit scared.
went walking around the school.
totally felt like exhibits,~~everyone~~ was looking at us.
had the welcome ceremony after that.
couldnt really appreciate it but felt so vip-ish (:
went to play sports after that.
baseball!
it was quite fun,really.
could throw and catch but couldnt bat for goodness sake.
and and and it was outdoors and i was totally freezing!
took photos with guys.hahhaha
went to meet host family afterwards.
was with meifeng and the host is a girl named kihara miran.
they were really friendly.
although their english wasnt that good,they tried really really hard to communicate with us.
i could totally tell,they are so sweet!
you know what?
MIRAN LOVES YAMAPI TOO!!!
totally cool!after dinner we were dancing to the music videos of NEWS,KATTUN!
the father couldnt belive that we know so many japanese idols,hahha :D

i think it is really fun,singing along to the japanese songs i know --in the car.
i dont get to do that in singapore and i miss that feeling..
went to some highland area for bbq.with two other families..
their method of bbq is totally different from us.
and i like it,esp the cheese fondue,heavenly!
however the food could not stay that warm as the wind was constantly blowing,and the warm food became refrigerated food.
but playing games with them was fun!
they made use of simple objects to play,without the need of high-tech equipments.
ahh,i cnt continue elaborating about the activities,it makes me feel sad.
anw on the day we had to part,everyone was crying like crazy.
well,it was just a day and a few hours yet i feel so attached :(

will elaborate with the pics the next post!
must remind me!

reasons why i miss japan like crazy:
PEOPLE
i miss my host family,the tour guide.of course i miss the people there who keep greeting you went you enter or leave the store,their politness,the hotel staff who would wait outside the hotel and wave till we leave,people who would give way to you even if they dont know you,cute little kids
ENVIRONMENT
the streets are so clean,not like singapore.i wonder why are we labelled as clean and green country.the weather is so cooling and lovely,i can run like crazy there,i dont mind.haha
GUYS
hahha they are relatively cute and gentlemanly,what else do you want to ask for?
HOST FAMILY
they are really nice,sorry for the trouble i have caused to you.and the ppl there really put relationships first before anything else.their parents are like their best friends.

i want to go back again,to kagoshima.even if i dont go tokyo i dont mind,i realised that all that matters is the environment and the people.

yeah~
had japanese lessons and briefing for japan the last to days.
the tour guide cum japanese teacher was so cute and funny.
cute as in not handsome that cute.
but like a child that kind de cute,his actions very funny.
enjoyed the lessons!seriously!
i cant wait to go japan leh.
